The PDP team will award up to four technical assistance (TA) visits in Year 3 of the PDP contract (October 2010 through September 2011). The purpose of the TA visit is to assist CDC DASH funded partners in meeting their professional development objective(s) as stated in their cooperative agreement workplans. Expenses for the TA visit are paid by PDP.
Sites interested in requesting a TA visit must follow the TA visit guidelines (see the application and links to support documents below). Once submitted, a review team, including representatives from CDC DASH and RMC PDP, will assess the requests. CDC DASH staff will make the final decision. All applicants will be notified of the results within two weeks of the receipt of the request.
801 Funded Programs—Up to three PDP TA visits will be awarded to 801 funded programs (SEAs, LEAs, TEAs, and TGs). Applications may be submitted at any time.
NGO Funded Programs—One PDP TA visit will be awarded to a newly funded NGO program in Year 3 of the PDP contract. The NGO TA visit will not be awarded until after the new cooperative agreement recipients have been announced in March of 2011.
